YAHR teaches HR professionals the process of HR Calendaring to strategically plan activities, meet regulatory deadlines and manage their time. Released in 2024 YAHR's training bundles provide additional resources for training, content and materials to round out your professional portfolio and capabilities. YAHR brings decades of HR compliance and leadership experience & expertise to you.
The originator of the HR Calendaring concept and subsequent YAHR Compliance Collection, Denise Gee, brings two decades of professional HR leadership and consulting experience in the healthcare, educational services, technology, and consumer product sectors. Her track record of compliance includes zero findings in over 60 regulatory audits by state and local surveyors such as Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) and accreditation bodies such as The Joint Commission (JCAHO).
She obtained her Master's degree in Business Administration from Purdue University where she graduated summa cum laude, DEI certified by the Human Resources Certification Institute (HRCI) and a graduate of Florida State University’s Jim Moran Institute for Global Entrepreneurship. She currently serves as Vice President of HR and Compliance for a national healthcare non-profit, Committee Chair of the National Association of Health Services Executives (NAHSE) Marketing and Communications Committee, a member of SHRM and American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE).
She has been recognized and awarded Nielsen and the D’Aniello Family Foundation and the Institute for Veterans and Military Families at Syracuse University (IVMF) for her past work with Operation VetWorks, a program she developed to focus on helping companies lower turnover & engage their veteran employees. She has served as a SCORE Certified Small Business Mentor, a graduate of the V-Wise (Veteran Women Igniting the Spirit of Entrepreneurship) and BCL of Texas. She was also chosen by NBCUniversal’s MSNBC Know Your Value initiative to participate in Johnson & Johnson's Human Performance Institute - Corporate Athlete Training and as a First Grow Your Value finalist.
